One of my first oil paintings completed in 2010 of the Red-Eyed Tree Frog.  This species of frog resides in the rainforests of Mexico, Central and South America.  It uses it's red eyes to shock predators in order to escape.

The frog represents the transient nature of our lives.  A symbol of transition and transformation, it brings forth the feminine energy to cleanse the body and spirit.
